Dr. Diane Daniels Adoma is City Councilwoman for the new city of Stonecrest. She also served as the first female Mayor Pro Tem for the city of Stonecrest in 2017. Diane is an alumna of VoteRunLead (VRL). She also is a veteran business woman with a bachelor’s degree from Kennesaw State University and a PhD in Leadership and Organization Management from Capella University.
Dr. Adoma has more than 20 years of work experience with companies such as Adoma & Associates dba H&R Block, Turner Broadcasting Systems, AT&T, ING Group and other Fortune 500 businesses. She is currently an instructor for the small business entrepreneurial academy for Rockdale Chamber of Commerce and a strategist with DEMO Consulting, LLC. Diane’s passion is entrepreneurship, and she believes the small business is the “economic engine” for a revitalized community. Diane is also a graduate of both the Leadership Rockdale and the Rotary International Leadership Training Institute and is currently in the 2018 class of Leadership DeKalb.
Diane serves on many boards including United Way and Rotary International and she was endorsed by the US Women’s Chamber of Commerce and was the Policy Advocate for the Atlanta Region. Diane was the recipient of the Conyers-Rockdale Chamber of Commerce James P. Culpepper, Jr. prestigious volunteer award, and the Rotary International “Avenues of Service Citation” the highest Rotarian global award for individual community service in multiple categories. Diane is divorced with two grown children and three grandchildren and her daughter is a graduate of Stanford University and a pediatrician and her son owns a healthcare firm. Her hobbies are cooking, dancing, listening to classical music and tennis.
